I am not conscious

At the beginning of the performance artist enter the cage carrying a blue pot. Then turn on the cassette player in the corner and sit at the table. After the first notes of the song Sarŕa, Sarŕa l’Aurora (Dawn will come) by Eros Ramazzotti puts the blue pot over head and continue listening to the song until its end.

In the performance two elements from two previous works were used with the same ‘transmitted’ meaning: a metal cage from the installation The Coal from the Subconsciousness (Gallery SC,  1999). Like in the installation a metal cage is the bearer of the conscious self in the action of the performance. Blue pot used in the performance Back from the Unconscious (GMK Gallery, 1999), as in the previous work one, comes from the field of the unconscious.
